GLOW Fest is a circus arts and lifestyle event created by Sophie deLightful with local guidance from Humanitarian Clowns founder, Tim Webster. It launched in March 2021, at beautiful Waves Campground in the relaxed surf town of Crescent Head (mid-north coast NSW). Its annual program offers an exciting and eclectic mix of circus and flow arts workshops, showcase performances, fire spinning circles, children’s activities and entertainment, art installations, art experiences and live music jams.
Bringing together the best parts of a circus arts festival with Burning Man principles and creativity, it is truly a multi-faceted arts event. Family-friendly and inclusive, it’s driving principles are Community, Participation, Respect, Consent & Reduce, Re-use, Recycle.
In 2025, GLOW Fest shifts to the new venue of Falls Forest Retreat after Waves Campground experienced issues with Kempsey Council’s planning department. This change also allowed a move to a more waterfall-friendly time of year, 6-11 November.

The organisers of GLOW Fest acknowledge that this event is being held on the traditional lands of the Dunghutti people, and we pay our respects to Elders both past, present and future.
